Anjum Misbahuddin

Anjum Misbahuddin completed her medical degree at the United Medical and Dental schools of Guys and St Thomas's Hospitals, London including an intercalated BSc in Genetics. She completed her PhD at University of London in molecular aspects of dystonia under the supervision of Professor Tom Warner. Her neurology training was also completed in London at NHNN, Kings College Hospital and St Thomas's Hospital, and at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre, Sussex. She is currently a Consultant Neurologist at Queen's Hospital Romford and has been the clinical lead for a number of years. Her specialist area is movement disorders and she leads the DBS service. She is also the trust's Clinical Director for Research and Innovation.
